Former Newsweek reporter Andrew Nagorski will discuss his new nonfiction book, "Hitlerland: American Eyewitnesses to the Nazi Rise to Power" at the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum.

The book, which will soon be made into a TV series, tells the story of Hitler's rise through the recollections of American military officers, writers, artists and others who were in Germany at the time.

Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said of the book, “Andrew Nagorski, a deft storyteller, has plumbed the dispatches, diaries, letters, and interviews of American journalists, diplomats and others who were present in Berlin to write a fascinating account of a fateful era.”

There will be a booksigning and reception after the talk. Registration is requested. Adults cost $10, seniors and students are $7 and members are free.
