The Harlem reading series First Person Plural returns for the second session of its third season on Oct. 15.

Launched by three Harlem writers — Stacy Parker Le Melle, Wendy S. Walters and Amy Benson — the event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shrine World Music Venue.

The event, held in partnership with Belladonna Collaborative, features poets r. erica doyle, Tonya Foster, and LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs.

The mission of Belladonna Collaborative is to promote the work of women writers. The writers are invited to read or perform pieces that explore the collective voice and may also read from other recent work. Admission is free.

Shrine is located at 2271 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard between 133rd and 134th streets.
