Lower East Side / East Village Reporter

DNAinfo New York is looking for neighborhood reporter to cover the Lower East Side and East Village.

Whoever takes the job would cover everything from SPURA to Sock Man. This reporter would also cover education, politics, food, bars, real estate and whatever other subjects he or she finds interesting in the neighborhood.

You're the ideal candidate if:

► You care about the neighborhoods, and about finding local stories that bubble up from the streets.

► You have a Twitter following, and you can use it and other social media platforms to find cool things going on in the neighborhood.

► You have top-notch reporting chops, including photography and breaking news reporting skills.

► You love hanging around the newsroom waiting to be told what to do.
