EAST ELMHURST — Police released a photo of a man who sources said fatally shot another man on 95th Street in October.
Karron Alston, 25, was found shot in the head and back at about 9:50 p.m. on Oct. 12, behind homes on 95th Street near Jackson Mill Road, NYPD officials said.
Investigators are now looking for Johnathan Baez, 26, who sources said was the gunman.
The men knew each other before the shooting, sources said.
There hadn't been any arrests as of Thursday afternoon, police said.
The photo released by police appears to be Baez's mugshot, but NYPD officials didn't immediately provide any further information about the man, other than that he is a "person of interest."
