QUEENS — A man was arrested for groping a woman at a 7 train station in Woodside while wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the name of the supermarket where he works.

Luis Maldonado, 27, was arrested Friday and charged with forcible touching and sexual abuse for the Sept. 21 incident, in which he approached a 29-year-old woman from behind as she was entering the 7 train station at 61st Street and Roosevelt Avenue and grabbed her butt, authorities said.

The NYPD released photos last week of the suspect, who was wearing a T-shirt with the words "I Love Westside Market," a reference to the supermarket chain in Manhattan.

The grocery store started an "internal investigation" after a DNAinfo reporter reached out about the images on Friday morning. The store's T-shirts are given out to employees, vendors and customers, according to Ian Joskowitz, chief operating officer for Westside Market.

Maldonado was arrested Friday around 4 p.m. at the Westside Market location at 84 Third Ave., where he works, police said. He was tracked down after police received a tip about his whereabouts, according to an NYPD spokesman.

He was arraigned on Saturday and released on his own recognizance, court records show. His defense attorney did not immediately return a request for  comment Monday.

A representative for Westside Market also did not return a call and email seeking comment Monday.
