BROOKLYN — A man was shot to death outside a Chauncey Street apartment building Wednesday night, police said.
The victim, who was in his 20s but whose name wasn't immediately released, was shot several times in the chest and body outside a building between Malcolm X Boulevard and Utica Avenue around 10 p.m., the NYPD said.
He died at Kings County Hospital, police said.
There were no immediate arrests and police didn't provide a suspect description.
Investigators were trying to determine what sparked the shooting, police officials said.
