LOWER EAST SIDE — A woman stole a watch and camera from a sleeping man's apartment after meeting him at a Midtown bar Aug. 4, police said.

The thief met the 27-year-old victim at the Whiskey Trader's Lounge on West 55th Street near Sixth Avenue before the pair went back to his Lower East Side apartment near the corner of Madison and Grand streets, police said.

When the victim woke up, the woman was gone, along with his watch, camera and camera lens, police said. The stolen items are altogether valued at around $2,000.

The theft occurred sometime between 4:10 a.m. and noon on Aug. 4, according to authorities — within days of two incidents in which a female thief snatched pricey belongings from a man she went home with after meeting at Chelsea nightclub 10ak.

Police did not say why information on the incident was just now being released.

Police have released surveillance footage of the suspect, described as a woman around 30-years-old, standing at five-foot-four and brown eyes and black hair, last seen wearing a green dress.
