NEW YORK CITY — Yankee fans heading to Tuesday night's wild-card playoff matchup can hop on a century-old train running direct from Grand Central.

The four-car "Nostalgia Special" — a 1917 train featuring rattan seats, ceiling fans and drop-sash windows — will make a direct trip from Grand Central to Yankee Stadium at 7 p.m. Tuesday, the MTA said.

The Yankees' game against the Minnesota Twins, which will decide who moves on to play in the American League Division Series, is scheduled to start at 8:08 p.m.

The vintage train, which discontinued service in the 1960s, is expected to arrive at the stadium about 30 minutes after leaving Grand Central, the MTA said.
