EAST VILLAGE—Sacked!
Police said they have arrested two teens, one who was was wearing a Tom Brady jersey when they violently attacked a 62-year-old woman before stealing her purse on East 5th Street near Avenue C on Aug. 19.
Ian Williams, 16, and a 14-year-old boy, whose name was not released, were charged with robbery in connection with the attack, police said.
The woman suffered bruising and swelling from the attack, the NYPD said.
It’s unclear whether Williams or the 14-year-old was wearing the jersey.
Williams, of Bushwick, has no prior arrests, according to police.
