BROOKLYN — A man with "Boston" tattooed along his right forearm pulled a knife on a man on the 5 train, police said.

The suspect, who can be seen in police photos released Wednesday, put the knife to the leg of the 31-year-old  as they rode toward the Beverly Road station in East Flatbush about 6:38 p.m. Aug. 15, NYPD officials said.

He fled once they reached the station and hadn't been arrested as of Thursday morning, police said. The victim was not injured in the incident.

The suspect was described between 45 and 50 years old, standing 5-foot-10 and weighing about 160 pounds, police said.

He wore a tan newsboy cap with black shorts, black shoes and a black T-shirt.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
