2 People Critically Hurt in West 23rd Street Taxi Crash, FDNY Says

MANHATTAN — Two people suffered life-threatening injuries when a yellow cab and another vehicle collided on West 23rd Street, injuring three others Wednesday morning, officials said.

The vehicles crashed into each other about 1:21 a.m. near Seventh Avenue, according to an FDNY spokeswoman.

Two people were listed in critical condition at Bellevue Hospital, the spokeswoman said.

Two others suffered serious injuries, but were listed in stable condition at the same hospital, officials said.

One person was treated for minor injuries at Bellevue as well, FDNY officials said.

NYPD officials didn't have information about the crash.
