Armed Robber Sticks Up Pair for Cellphones in Bed-Stuy, NYPD Says

BROOKLYN — Police are on the lookout for a man who held up two people in broad daylight on a Bed-Stuy street, the NYPD said.

The victims, a 33-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, were near the corner of Skillman Street and Lafayette Avenue at about 6:45 p.m. on June 15, when the suspect approached and flashed a handgun, police said.

The suspect, whom police described as standing about 5-foot-9 with a tattoo on his right arm, took the pair's cellphones and fled on Lafayette Avenue, the NYPD said. 

Video of the suspect released by police shows him clad in light blue jeans and a white T-shirt, jogging and looking over his shoulder.
