EAST ELMHURST — Two airline passengers were busted with guns in their luggage at LaGuardia Airport on the Fourth of July, officials said.
Quashaun Hagler, 30, from Minnetonka, Minnesota, was arrested by Port Authority Police inside Terminal C before noon on Tuesday after they found he had a semi-automatic Glock with him, according to a spokesman for the agency.
Three hours later, police found a loaded .38 revolver inside a bag as it moved down the conveyor belt as Timothy Green, 54, of Titusville, Florida, tried traveling to Orlando, a spokesman said.
Both were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
