CORONA — Police are searching for a man wanted for questioning in a drive-by double shooting that critically injured two people last week.

Eric Rodriguez, 37, shot into a black BMW X5 SUV early Sunday morning in front of 32-14 101st St., hitting the male driver in the arms and torso and his female passenger in the back and hand, police said.

The injured driver managed to drive the car to the 115th Precinct a few blocks away, according to the NYPD.

Rodriguez sped off in a dark grey GMC Sierra pickup truck with New Jersey plates, police said. He should be considered “armed and dangerous,” they added.

He was arrested as recently as March after violating an order of protection from his ex-girlfriend, according to the district attorney’s office.

He showed up outside her house on Feb. 28 and threw a rug and garbage on her car despite signing an order of protection that lasted through July, records show.

If you have information about the incident or the suspect, please call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or for Spanish 1-888-57-PISTA (74782.)
