BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a man they say broke into the apartment of a woman he was in a relationship with five times over the course of two months — and in several instances assaulted her.

Vileek Holmes, 20, first broke into the 28-year-old victim's Chauncey Street apartment April 17 around 9:15 p.m.  and threw a glass bottle at her window, causing it to shatter, police said.

Holmes then twice climbed into her apartment through her bedroom window — during one of those break-ins, he slapped the victim and grabbed her by the neck, police said. The woman refused medical attention in that instance.

Holmes last burglarized the woman's home June 15 around 12:39 a.m., police said. Authorities could not immediately provide times and details for each of the five incidents.

He is described as standing around 5-foot-4 and weighing 130 pounds, according to authorities.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or for Spanish 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
