MANHATTAN — Twelve protesters were arrested for tying themselves together and blocking the annual Pride Parade on Sunday, police said.
NYPD officers cuffed seven women and five men, according to an NYPD spokesman.
Photos from the scene show the protesters sitting on the asphalt outside the Stonewall Inn holding a long purple banner that read, "No cops, no banks," according to Gothamist.
The 12 faced charges including obstruction of governmental administration, but the spokesman didn't provide further details.
