THE BRONX — A second man was arrested Friday in the vicious avocado-throwing attack that left a bodega worker with a broken jaw, officials said.
Police cuffed Jestyfer Henriquez, 25, and charged him with assault a day after arresting Brad Gomez, 28, for the May 29 attack in which they hurled produce at Amr Alzabidi, 21, in the early-morning hours at the Stadium Gourmet Deli on East 161st Street, police said.
Henriquez, who can be seen in video of the attack in a blue vest, threw avocados and trashed the deli along with Gomez.
Gomez had been trying to place a food order at the deli counter when he became incensed, Alzabibi said.
“He was trying to order from the deli guy who doesn’t speak good English,” said Alzabidi, whose eye was still blackened from the attack and whose broken jaw required surgery.

Henriquez was still awaiting arraignment Friday morning, records show.
He's been arrested 11 times, though most of the police records for his arrests are sealed, an NYPD spokesman said.
He was arrested in July 2012 for marijuana, in January 2014 for attempted reckless endangerment and again on July 2016 for forgery, the spokesman said.
