7 Train Service Snarled in Queens After Man is Struck by Subway: Officials

QUEENS — No. 7 trains were running with extensive delays in both directions Thursday morning after a man was struck by a subway at the 103rd Street-Corona Plaza stop, the MTA and FDNY said.

The man was seriously injured after being hit by the train just after 6:40 a.m., the FDNY said.

It was not immediately known whether he jumped or fell onto the tracks, according to police.

He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in serious condition.

Express service along the 7 line was still suspended as of 8:50 a.m., the MTA said.
