MANHATTAN — An 18-year-old man was shot in the leg while walking on the street in Central Harlem Wednesday afternoon, according to the FDNY and NYPD.

The teen was walking in front of 127 W. 127th St. between Lenox Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard at about 2:50 p.m. when he heard a gunshot and then felt pain in his left leg, officials said.

He was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.

The victim did not see the shooter, an NYPD spokeswoman said, and the investigation is ongoing.
