COLUMBUS CIRCLE — A straphanger rubbed a woman’s buttocks continuously as she rode the C train from one subway stop to the next, the NYPD said.
The 49-year-old woman was riding a downtown C train around 8:20 a.m. on April 28 when the man got onto the train at the 59th Street-Columbus Circle subway station and started rubbing her buttocks, police said.
The suspect persisted until the train pulled into the 50th Street station, and he eventually exited at the 23rd Street stop, the NYPD said.
Police described the suspect as about 55 years old, standing 6-foot-2, weighing 215 pounds, partially bald, and last seen wearing an orange polo shirt and a black coat.
