BUSHWICK — A man in a fire engine red jacket rubbed himself while staring down a J train rider, police said.

A 34-year-old woman riding to Manhattan on the J train noticed the man sit across from her as the train left the Myrtle Avenue station at around 3:05 a.m. on March 29, police said.

The man, who was last seen wearing navy blue pants and a baseball hat and a jacket with the word "Revolution" written on the back, started rubbing his groin and later exited the train at the Delancey Street stop where the victim snapped a picture of him, police said.

Police didn't say why they released the image nearly a month after the incident.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident can call NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
