HELL’S KITCHEN — A strip club chain with a popular Las Vegas outpost that boasts of being the "best gentlemen’s club in the world" is opening a three-level venue on West 50th Street.

Spearmint Rhino, which has more than a dozen locations throughout the U.S., the United Kingdom and Australia, plans to open its first Big Apple venue at 637 W. 50th St., near the West Side Highway, according to an application filed with Community Board 4.

The venue will include two floors and a rooftop space, according to the filing.

The space is currently occupied by a dance club called Space Ibiza, which plans to relocate, the filing says.

“Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen’s Clubs is the world leader in premier entertainment,” the company’s website says. “Each club offers a personalized experience with the very best in local food and drink choices, unmatched entertainment, hospitality and live shows including adult film star performances.”

Club representatives who attended CB4’s Business Licenses and Permits committee Tuesday evening agreed to operate under “essentially” the same stipulations as Space Ibiza, committee co-chair Frank Holozubiec wrote in an email.

Space Ibiza has an open rooftop area, but Spearmint Rhino plans to enclose it, he noted.

A tentative menu filed with the board includes items like a $12.50 steak served with fries, a $9 “basic burger,” a $9.50 chicken salad wrap and $10.50 flatbread pizzas.

While a few attendees disapproved of “euphemisms like ‘gentlemen’s club’ used to describe such establishments,” the committee voted to approve the venue’s application, as there wasn’t any significant opposition, Holozubiec said.

Representatives for Spearmint Rhino and for Space Ibiza didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment Wednesday.
