EAST WILLIAMSBURG — You can try your luck at scoring a one-bedroom apartment for $1,020 a month in a new luxury building complete with a rooftop terrace, a backyard and an exercise room, all less than a block away from the L train.

The city's housing lottery is now open for eight one- and two-bedroom apartments at 845 Grand St., just down the block from the Grand Street L train stop.

They'll rent out at $1,020 and $1,224 a month, respectively. Applications are due by April 5.

Households with one or two people who earn between $34,972 and $43,500 a year are eligible to apply for the one-bedroom apartments.

Households with between two and four people who earn a minimum annual income of $41,966 and a maximum of $54,360 are eligible to apply for the two-bedroom apartments.

The new building boasts marble countertops, private balconies, rainfall shower heads and driftwood floors, according to its website.

The market-rate apartments, currently being leased out, are commanding more than double the rate of the affordable apartments in the building — with one-bedrooms renting for $2,700, two-bedrooms for $3,300 and three-bedrooms for $4,600.

All tenants also have access to a laundry room, a bike room and an indoor lounge, according to the city.

Applicants can apply online here or request an application by mail by sending a self-addressed envelope to 845 Grand, c/o Housing Partnership Development Corporation, 242 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10018.
