MIDTOWN — A New York architecture firm wants to send skyscrapers around the bend — literally.

The architecture studio Oiio has released conceptual designs for a building that would form a massive arch over Central Park and would be the "longest tower" in the world if built, according to the firm.

Dubbed "Big Bend," renderings of the project show a pair of skinny towers that rise to about 2,000 feet, then meet in an arch in the center, forming one continuous structure clocking in at 4,000 feet "long," according to the studio.

Oiio, a firm with studios in New York and Athens, debuted its design as a challenge to the originality of the super-tall skyscrapers currently standing and under construction along "Billionaire's Row" on 57th Street.

The renderings are just an idea, and do not appear to be attached to any particular development site.
