QUEENS — An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested for a domestic violence assault in southeastern Queens Monday, police and sources said.
Marc Aurelus, 33, was charged with strangulation, assault and harassment after he was arrested at about 10:20 a.m. Monday, police said.
The nature of the attack, where specifically it occurred and the victim's relationship to Aurelus were not immediately available.
It was also not immediately known which precinct Aurelus worked in or if he has had any previous disciplinary action taken against him.
