Man Tries to Rape Woman in Salon After Going There for Massage, NYPD Says

QUEENS — A man punched and tried to rape a woman at a Flushing salon after going there to get a massage, police said.

The suspect entered the business on 164th Street at about 4 a.m. Thursday before getting into a dispute with a 29-year-old woman inside, the NYPD said. 

He then punched the victim in the face and body and sexually assaulted her, police said.

The suspect fled and the woman was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.

He was described as between 30 to 35 years old, standing about 6 feet and weighing 200 pounds.
