QUEENS — An 81-year-old woman was in critical condition after being struck by a tow truck driver of the same age in Flushing Thursday afternoon, police said.
The woman was crossing Kissena Boulevard in the crosswalk near Holly Avenue when an 81-year-old driver making a left turn hit her, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
The woman was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition, the spokeswoman added.
The driver remained on the scene, and there was no criminality suspected.
The investigation is ongoing.
