MANHATTAN — Three teenage boys were arrested for climbing a 15-story crane to take photos in the Financial District on Sunday night, an NYPD spokesman said.
The trio of boys scaled the crane at a West Street construction site near Desbrosses Street about 6:30 p.m. only to be cuffed when they returned to the ground, police said.
The teens, a 14-year-old from Manhattan, a 15-year-old from Brooklyn and a 16-year-old from New Jersey, were charged with criminal trespassing, police said.
All three of them were carrying cameras, police said.
