HELL'S KITCHEN — A man was randomly shot in the back on West 48th Street on Monday morning, an NYPD spokesman said.
The 24-year-old man, whose name wasn't immediately released, was walking near 11th Avenue about 4 a.m. when he heard a bang and felt pain, police said.
He was treated at Bellevue Hospital where he's listed in stable condition, police said.
Police said the victim is a known gang member who's on parole for drug sales.
It wasn't immediately clear who pulled the trigger and there were no immediate arrests, police said.
