EAST HARLEM — Two men were randomly slashed on the street in separate East Harlem attacks, police said.
A 25-year-old reported that he was cut twice on the back of his head and neck which sitting on a metal subway vent grate on Lexington Avenue near 124th Street around 2:50 p.m. on Feb. 15, according to the NYPD's 25th Precinct.
The suspect, described as a 6-foot-1 man weighing about 185 pounds, fled down a nearby street, police said.
Two days later, A 33-year-old man was walking between Park and Lexington Avenues on 125th Street around 7:45 p.m. when a 6-foot tall man wearing a black ski mask pulled out a box cutter and slashed him in his left rib cage, police said.
Both victims were treated at Harlem Hospital.
