NEW YORK CITY — With "blizzard-like conditions" expected for Thursday, city officials are asking New Yorkers to take public transportation instead of driving.

Experts are predicting that up to 12 inches of snow could fall throughout the day with the heaviest snowfall happening between 7 and 11 a.m.

With so many commuters relying on public transportation to make it through the snowstorm, DNAinfo New York will be periodically updating its public transit tracker with service changes and delays.
