CHELSEA — Where would Don Draper and Laura Palmer meet for a drink?

A sprawling new cocktail bar inspired by the looks of "Mad Men" and "Twin Peaks" is heading to the former No. 8 space on West 16th Street.

The Lately will be “loosely modeled after an upstate cabin of yore, with a fireplace, playful wallpaper and modern flourishes — think Mad Men meets Twin Peaks,” said LDV Hospitality and Den Hospitality, the groups behind the venture.

“Our goal is to bring back the old school glamour of home entertaining in a fun, contemporary atmosphere,” Den Hospitality founder Adam Fulton said in a statement.

The bar was first reported by Eater.

The 3,400-square-foot venue will serve a range of cocktails, including “timeless offerings” like martinis and Manhattans and more “unrecognizable” beverages like frozen Negronis and coconut avocado margaritas when it opens in March.

Craft beers, wines, hot dogs and hot pretzels will also be on the menu.

The Lately is moving into the space at 357 W. 16th St., near Ninth Avenue, formerly occupied by LDV Hospitality-owned No. 8 nightclub, which housed celebrity hot spot Bungalow 8 before that.
