WILLIAMSBURG — A mother walking her children to school was attacked by four people who shoved her to the ground, stomped on her and punched her while another stood on her wrist so she couldn't get up, police said.
Another attacker was filming the assault with her phone, police said.
The Jan. 11 beating took place at 8:50 a.m. on the corner of Hewes Street and South 5th Street with her phone, police said.
The 25-year-old woman recognized three of her four attackers, two of whom were woman and two of whom men, police said.
The group took the woman's cellphone, but in the struggle she managed to get it back before they fled the scene, police said.
No one had been arrested as of Friday.
