UPPER EAST SIDE — An elderly man died Sunday after he slipped on ice while walking in the neighborhood, police said.
The 75-year-old man was near East 73rd Street and Second Avenue when he fell and banged his head on the sidewalk around 11:30 a.m., the NYPD said.
He was taken to Cornell Hospital where he died.
His identity had not been released by police pending family notification.
