BROOKLYN — A driver who hit and killed a man in East New York Sunday morning then abandoned his car and ran away was still at large two days later, NYPD officials said.

Tedangelo Jerome, 23, was driving his 2007 Lexus sedan east on Conduit Boulevard when he hit a 53-year-old man trying to cross at Pine Street minutes after 5 a.m., police said.

Jerome then careened into a guardrail before coming a stop and running away, police said.

The victim, whose name wasn't immediately released, was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital, officials said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
