WEST FARMS —  A man robbed four Bronx stores this month, pulling a gun on workers and making off with more than $2,200, police said.

The suspect first struck shortly after noon on Dec. 6 when he held up a 42-year-old woman working at a Dollar Store on Wilkens Avenue and Crotona Park East. He pried open the store's cash register with a crowbar and stole $761, police said.

He then took a car several blocks away on Jennings Street and Hoe Avenue, forcing its driver out at gunpoint before fleeing in the vehicle. The car was found the next day near 167th Street and Bryant Avenue, according to police.

On Dec. 8, the man robbed a beauty supply store at 219 East Tremont Ave., where he stole $500 in cash, police said.

He held up a Dunkin Donuts at 47 East Gun Hill Rd. three days later on Dec. 11, pulling a gun on a 43-year-old woman working there and stealing $150.

On Dec. 20, the man entered a 99 cent store at 1775 Southern Blvd. shortly before 7 p.m., where he stole $800, police said.

Video of that incident shows the suspect — who wore gloves and a blue hooded sweatshirt — pointing a gun at the cashier.

The man is described as between 35 to 40 years old, between 5-foot-8 and 6 foot and about 170 pounds, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
