Police Release Video of Bryant Park Shooting Suspect

MANHATTAN — Police released a video Sunday night of a suspect they said fatally shot a man near Bryant Park.

The suspect, who can be seen walking through a subway and again in a bodega, shot Terrance Walker, 27, in the chest near West 40th Street and Sixth Avenue about 2:21 a.m. Saturday, NYPD officials said.

Walker, who may have been homeless, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The suspect, who is about 6 feet tall, in his 20s or 30s, was last seen wearing a black coat, black cap, black pants and black shoes, police said.

Police video shows him walking into a convenience store about an hour after the shooting.

The gunman hadn't been arrested as of Monday morning, police said.
