TRIBECA — At this restaurant, the heirlooms aren't just tomatoes.
Antique Garage, a longtime SoHo restaurant known for its upscale Mediterranean fare and — as its name implies — its collection of antiques, is slated to open a second location in TriBeCa.
The restaurant is set to launch at 313 Church St. in mid-February, owner and chef Utku Cinel said.
The same SoHo menu, with dishes including grilled lamb meatballs with fries and yogurt sauce ($18) and pan-seared beef dumplings ($20) will be offered up at the TriBeCa restaurant.
Community Board 1's TriBeCa committee gave the eatery its support for a liquor license earlier this week.
The restaurant was also given support by local residents who'd battled with the previous owners of the space, Church Street Tavern, over noise and crowd issues.
