Gunman Robs Staten Island Suit Shop, Police Say

NEW SPRINGVILLE — A gunman robbed a suit shop near the Staten Island Mall, police said.

The suspect walked into New York Man Suits, at 2555 Richmond Ave., at 1:47 p.m. on Monday and threatened the 55-year-old worker with a handgun, the NYPD said.

The worker gave him $200 before he fled the store, police said.

The suspect is described as between 55 and 60 years old, standing 5-foot-7 and weighing 170 pounds, police said.

He was last seen with a Band-Aid on his nose and wearing a brown jacket, gray sweatpants, black gloves, black sneakers and a black hooded sweatshirt.
