Pink-Gloved Bank Robber Makes Off With Cash From Upper West Side Branch

UPPER WEST SIDE — A man wearing pink gloves and a New York Giants sweatshirt robbed a Chase bank on Broadway, police said.

The man walked into the Chase Bank at 2438 Broadway, near West 90th Street, at 12:05 p.m. Friday and handed the teller a note demanding money, the NYPD said. 

The teller handed over an unspecified amount of cash before the suspect fled northbound on Broadway and then eastbound on West 90th Street, police said. 

Police described the man as in his 30s, standing approximately 5-foot-10 with a medium build. He was wearing a winter hat, sunglasses, pink gloves and a blue Giants hooded sweatshirt.
