The Union Square Holiday Market is chock full of vendors from around the city, so it’s a one-stop shop to pick up presents for as many people in your life as you like. Some of the vendors that caught our eye include:
►With Roots Jewelry, a line of pendants with tiny, live terrariums that cost between $44 and $72
►Punkster, a line of baby shirts for the tiniest li’l punks in your life
►Sabyloo, which has accessories for any dog-loving friend or family members.

For the cheese-lover in your life, stop by Murray’s for a wide selection of cheeses that would satisfy even the most selective gourmand.
Maps and Prints
Argosy Books
116 E. 59th St.
$20 and up
This rare-book dealer is known for its stock of pricey, hard-to-find tomes — if you’ve got $20,000 lying around, we recommend “The Quadrupeds of North America,” an encyclopedia set from 1852. But for gifts a little closer to Earth in price, the store also has a wide range of prints and maps, which range in price from perfectly affordable to somewhat less so. Prints such as this 1850 view of the Macombs Dam from across the Harlem River would make the perfect gift for a lover or scholar of New York history.
