MANHATTAN — A female pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Hell’s Kitchen Friday, officials said.
The woman was hit at 10th Avenue and West 39th Street at about 4:52 p.m., according to the FDNY and NYPD, and was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where she later died.
Rance Clyburn, 28, from New Jersey, remained at the scene, and was later arrested and charged with violating highway law, failure to yield to a pedestrian and failure to exercise due care, police said.
There was no immediate information on the victim's identity.
