'F--k Allah' Subway Graffiti Investigated as Hate Crime by NYPD

By Kathleen Culliton | December 7, 2016 3:11pm

BROOKLYN — Graffiti with the message, “F--k Allah” was found on a subway bench in the Fort Hamilton Parkway station in Windsor Terrace, said police sources.

The scrawl was found on the Manhattan-bound platform bench in the F and G station on the intersection of Fort Hamilton and Ocean parkways around 4 p.m. Monday, police said.

The incident is being investigated as a hate crime, police said.

Councilman Brad Lander’s office alerted the police and transit authorities of the graffiti on Monday and has since received word the message has been removed, spokesman John Schaefer said.

The councilman intends to hold a community meeting to discuss the graffiti but has not yet set a specific date, Schaefer said.

The graffiti was discovered the day after a swastika and the words “Praise Trump” were found scrawled inside a Hell’s Kitchen phone booth.
