HELL’S KITCHEN — A Facebook "hit list" featuring the names of teachers who students wanted to kill was uncovered after a teacher saw his name on it, the NYPD said.

The teacher, from at the Urban Assembly Gateway School for Technology at 439 W. 49th St., told police he found a Facebook post circulated among students around 11 a.m. on Nov. 30 in which one student had posed the question, “If you [could] kill any teacher, who?”

The teacher feared for his safety after finding his initials on the list, the NYPD said.

A city Department of Education spokeswoman said Wednesday that the school “immediately reported and addressed this serious incident."

“Staff was provided with additional supports, families were informed and appropriate follow-up action was taken,” she said. “We will continue to monitor the situation and ensure that students and staff are provided with a safe and supporting environment.”

No one had been arrested as of Monday, police said.
