QUEENS — Police released a sketch of one of the suspects in the shooting of a state prison guard and his wife at their Jamaica home in November.

Police officials said Tuesday that the sketch depicts one of the gunmen who pushed their way into the home of Henry Wright, 58, and his wife, Sharon Floyd-Wright, 52, on the corner of Mathias Avenue and 166th Street, around 7 p.m. on Nov. 27, police said.

The suspect has a teardrop tattoo under his left eye and braids, authorities said.

Wright, who has worked as a correction officer for 35 years, was shot five times in the torso and legs, police said.

His wife, who was shot in the shoulder, was able to whack one of the gunmen over the head with a hammer, before they fled, according to the NYPD.

Last week the correction officers’ union, which is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest of the gunmen, said that Wright "underwent surgery for his gunshot wounds and is still hospitalized in critical condition."

His wife was treated and has been released from the hospital, according to the union.

The gunmen, believed to be in their 20s or 30s, were wearing black hooded sweaters and blue jeans, officials said.

Last week, police also released images of a light-colored 2011 to 2015 Hyundai Elantra, which they said was used as a getaway car.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
