TRIBECA — A woman was found dead inside the Chambers Street subway station Saturday afternoon, police said.
The woman, whose identity has not yet been released by police, was found after the NYPD responded to a 911 call reporting an unconscious woman inside the station, at about 2 p.m.
Police said they found the woman slumped over on a bench. She was pronounced dead at the scene. There was no evidence of anything suspicious related to her death, according to police.
The medical examiners's office will determine the woman's cause of death.
