PENN STATION — Underwest Donuts has made its way east.

The donut shop located inside the Westside Highway Car Wash officially opened its second outpost near Penn Station Thursday morning.

The to-go kiosk outside Two Penn Plaza, near West 32nd Street and Seventh Avenue, will serve up donuts and coffee seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., manager Orlee Winer said.

“The opening’s been great,” she said. “There’s definitely more people than we had anticipated.”

The original Underwest Donuts opened inside Winer’s family car wash back in 2014 and serves “classic” donut flavors like dark chocolate, as well as halva and vanilla-lavender.

The Penn Station outpost is also offering those flavors, in addition to the shop’s new banana milk donut, Winer said.

“We didn’t know what to expect in this neighborhood, but everything’s been better than expected so far,” she said.
