LOWER EAST SIDE — Police are looking for a teenager who they say robbed three people on the Lower East Side last week, stealing just $10 or less from each victim by threatening to shoot or stab them.

The robber — described as 5'10" tall, weighing about 135 lbs and approximately 15- to 18-years-old — told victims he would knife them or shoot them if they didn't turn over their few dollars of cash, police said.

On Nov. 14, at about 8:50 a.m., the teen took $6 from a victim at 56 Essex St. Two days later, on Nov. 16, at about 2:45 p.m., he took $5 from another victim who stood across from 227 Madison St. Then, hours later, just after midnight Nov. 17, he robbed a person of $10, at the corner of Norfolk and Broome Streets.

The alleged thief was last seen wearing blue jeans and a multi-colored shirt, police said.
