EAST VILLAGE — Tompkins Square Bagels has opened its second location, giving locals another spot to nosh on innovative bagel flavors.

The Avenue A bagel shop, which boasts a birthday cake bagel and a matching cream cheese flavor, officially opened the doors to its second location at 184 Second Ave. Monday, according to posts from shop representatives across social media.

The eatery is known for its funky bagel colorings and flavors, including its sprinkle-strewn offerings, as well as blue and orange Mets-themed bagels.

The new location replaces neighborhood mainstay Open Pantry, a coffee shop and grocer that shuttered in January 2015 after 45 years in business, EV Grieve reported.
