If you're one of the people who feel like this country is in pickle right now, go ahead and eat your feelings.
Ben's Kosher Deli is giving away pickles to anyone who walks through the doors of their Midtown location at 209 W. 38th St. Monday.
The delicatessen serves pickles as an amuse-bouche for diners year-round, but it hands out the briny noshes once a year in celebration of National Pickle Day.
According to Ben's owner Ronnie Dragoon, the holiday was first celebrated in New York City in 2001, although Jewish immigrant vendors started selling pickles here — from pushcarts on the streets of the Lower East Side — in the 1930s.
